Many consumers aren’t aware of the impact that man-made fibres and plastic waste have on the environment. Many consumers also aren’t aware as to what contributes to being man-made, synthetic or plastic – which are all oil-based products that do not biodegrade and have high environmental impact to the planet.
The Campaign for Wool has developed a series of short animated films to address this and to highlight the fact that wool has inherent natural properties that benefit the planet. The films pose the question ‘What’s the Difference’ and succinctly highlight the differences between wool and man-made fibres – acrylic, nylon, polyester and polypropylene, referencing a number of #WoolFacts, with a reminder for consumers to Choose the World, Choose Safety and to #ChooseWool.
