This week’s digital store lamb auction sore a strong demand for store lambs younger than 6 months, with an average weight of less than 34 kg. The average price for these lambs reached up to R44.30. The continued high prices can be attributed to the shortage in market supply. This week also saw the prices on fat lambs remain high also due to the current market supply.
